Here are some photos from the June 17th Juneteenth Walk-a-thon. Edinboro University of Pennsylvania’s Sociology Club, the Meadville chapter of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People),United Faith Fellowship Church of God and Bethel AME united to celebrate 141 years of the end to slavery in the United States. The 12 mile walk began at Bethel AME Church in Meadville and ended in New Richmond at the John Brown Home and tannery.
